Sharon Yvonne Stone, born on March 10, 1958, at Meadville (Pennsylvania), is the daughter of Dorothy Lawson, a former factory worker, as well as Joseph William Stone, a tool maker and die maker. She has three siblings: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone began second grade in kindergarten at age five. Saegertown Senior High School in Saegertown Pennsylvania, was where she graduated in 1975. The Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw Stone winning Miss Crawford County. Stone moved into New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt to explore a career as models. Within a month, Stone signed up for the Ford Modeling Agency. While in Europe, she lived for a year in Milano and Paris. But, Stone became disillusioned with the modeling scene and modeling in Europe and decided to go into acting in Europe while she was there. She was 20 when she appeared in the Woody Allen film "Stardust Memories," which received mixed reviews.
