Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota - journalist, author, host of CNN's "New day" morning program, Westport resident and Westport Country Playhouse trustee - has been elected. Camerota's three decades of journalism have led to her covering news across the nation and internationally. Furthermore, she is the recipient of several awards including the Edward R. Murrow Award, as well as an Emmy Award. Johnna G. Torsone from Stamford has been named as an honorary board member following serving on the board for 7 years. Anna Czekaj Farber, who currently serves as chair of the Westport board having served as a board member since 2013, is also the new board member. Czekaj Farber takes over from Barbara Streicker from Westport who was chair of the board for the past year and continued in that position since 2006.
