Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette, born January 31, 1937, died on the 19th of January the 19th of January, 2008. She was an American film, television and voice actress. 1. Pleshette started her acting career in the theatre and began appearing in films towards the end of the 1950s. She then made appearances in notable films like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), and Spirited Away (2001). Later, she was a part of various television productions, mainly in guest roles. She also she played Emily Hartley on The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 until 1978, earning several Emmy Award nominations for her work. Pleshette was born on the 31st of January of 1937, in the New York City neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights, to Geraldine (nee Kaplan)[1] and Eugene Pleshette. Her parents were Jewish parents of immigrants from Russia or Austria-Hungary. She was the daughter of Geraldine Rivers, a performer and dancer. Her father was a stage director at both the Paramount Theater as well as the Paramount Theater in Manhattan.
