The premiere of the show in March 2014 earned him the status of a national superstar. He was born in Georgia and was raised in Westminster, South Carolina. He married Julie Chrisley in 1996 and they had five children together. His first marriage was to Teresa Terry. He had one brother named Derrick Chrisley who died as an infant. He and his wife Julie are the parents of five children, which are all featured in the TV show.
